Early-access terms
These terms cover using Brua while it is in early access, before pricing is settled. They are the customer agreement the privacy page refers to. Last changed 2 November 2026.
In short
- Brua is free during early access.
- Your assets stay yours. We store them, make the variants and deliver them, and do nothing else with them.
- We promise no uptime, but we tell you what happens, and the database is backed up every day.
- Either side can stop with 30 days' notice, and you leave with your files.
- Norwegian law applies.
Who agrees
"We" is Meginhufr AS, Norway, which runs Brua. "You" is the organization created in Brua, and the people it lets in. The person who creates the organization confirms that they may agree on its behalf. People you invite, and systems that use your API keys, use Brua on your behalf under these terms.
What early access is
Early access is Brua as it stands: the back office at app.brua.dev, the API, the edge that serves files, and the SDKs, command line and Figma plugin we publish. It costs nothing while it lasts.
Brua is still being built. We add, change and remove features, and we tell your owners by email before a change that could break something you rely on, such as the API or the URLs your apps hold.
Early access ends when we introduce pricing. We give you 30 days' notice, and you choose between continuing on a paid plan and leaving with your files.
Your account
Give us accurate details, keep passwords and API keys to yourselves, and treat what the people and keys in your organization do as your own doing. If a key or an account is compromised, tell us at security@brua.dev and we help you replace it.
Your content
You own the assets you upload, and you confirm that you have the right to use them. You give us the right to store them, process them into the variants Brua makes, and deliver them to the people your apps and pages show them to, and no more. That right ends when you delete an asset or leave.
Released assets are served from public URLs by design: anyone who has the URL gets the file, without signing in. Don't put anything in Brua that has to stay secret.
We do not look through, use, sell, or train anything on your content. We may remove content that is illegal or is used to harm others, and we tell you when we do unless the law forbids it.
What we ask of you
Don't use Brua to serve anything illegal, malware, or anything that infringes other people's rights. Don't try to get around the rate limits or into other organizations' data. Don't resell Brua as a service of your own. If you find a security problem, read how to report it.
Availability and support
Brua is provided as it is. We don't promise that it is always up or free of errors, but we run it with care: the core on AWS in Stockholm, files and delivery on Cloudflare in the European Union, with the database backed up every day and the backups kept for 7 days. We tell your owners by email about planned maintenance and about incidents that affected you.
Support is by email to hello@brua.dev, answered on Norwegian working days as well as we can.
Data and privacy
To run Brua we process your people's names and email addresses, your assets, and the alt texts and settings around them, on servers in the European Union. For personal data in that material, you are the controller and we are the processor, acting on the instructions these terms give. Our subprocessors are Amazon Web Services (Stockholm) and Cloudflare (files and delivery). A data processing agreement is available on request. The brua.dev website itself is covered by the privacy page.
Feedback and names
We can use suggestions you give us about Brua without owing you anything. We don't name you as a customer, or show your assets as examples, without asking first. What you learn about Brua's plans and pricing before it is public stays between us.
Ending
You can end these terms at any time by writing to us. We can end them with 30 days' notice, or at once if you break the section above about what we ask of you.
After the end, you have 30 days to download your assets through the back office or the API, and your released files are served for those 30 days so your apps keep working while you move. Then we delete your organization's data, except what the law makes us keep. Backups expire by themselves within 7 days after that.
Liability
Brua is free during early access and provided as it is. To the extent Norwegian law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost revenue, lost data you still have the source of, or the effects of downtime, and our total liability under these terms is limited to NOK 10 000. Nothing here limits liability for gross negligence or intent. You are responsible for claims that arise from your content.
Changes to these terms
We can change these terms with 14 days' notice by email to your owners. Using Brua after that date is acceptance. If you don't accept the change, end these terms before it and take your files.
Law
Norwegian law applies, and disputes go to Oslo District Court. Questions about these terms go to hello@brua.dev.
